I keep hearing that crownline has gone out of business or sold out to someone else or whatever. I want to get a crownline boat but am worried about parts as far as the boat is concerned. Such as if a handle was missing or glass gets broken or whatever? Are parts readily available still? Im not going to get one any older than 04-05 so would those be available with them being non existant (if thats the case).

Thanks for any help!

Re: Crownline parts...

The reason im asking is because i called the local dealer on a couple parts that i MAY need and he gave me some prices from the on-line dealer catalog but he then said, "let me be sure they are available and ill call you back." Well that was yesterday and i figured id get a little info on all the BS i was hearing and just ask here.

There are a lot of Crownline boats out there so I would think we can still get parts for them. I really like my Crownline and I will use aftermarket if I need to get something that is no longer available.

You pretty much can't get parts for ANY boat after a couple years anyway so I wouldn't let it factor much into your decision anyway. Windshields are particularly difficult.

My crownline windshield is a taylor made product, they seem like they make all the glass for boats. By the way a windshield is the last thing you ever want to have to replace on a boat unless you can find one in a salvage yard/used etc.
