Cruisers ???

Hi guys:

Looking to upgrade from a 23' 89 Sea Sprite to a 87 30' Cruisers Elegante. It was well maintaned by the owner (car mechanic) and has 2 new engines 4 years old, not rebuilds. A close boating friend of mine is also good friends with the owner and says it is in excellent condition and very well maintaned. Owner asking 15K

I am also looking at a 92, 32' Renken. asking 12K, not sure of condition

Do any of you have any opinions on Cruisers or Renkens please post them.

No experience with the Cruisers but a buddy owned a 32' Renken. I think it's one of the best value boats out there. No frills, not the best of anything, but you get a lot of boat for the money. Just need to look for the obvious items with the hull and engines.
