Hello, recently purchased this prop to improve hole shot on my 20 foot Everglades 200cc flatbottom with Yamaha 4stroke 115 (w/ jackplate 6" setback). I understand this prop might (or will?) reduce top-end speed, but get me up quicker. Does anyone know how much speed I will sacrifice? I have the standard prop (13x17 3 blade), runs about 30 under 5000rpm. Other than speed, what else I am sacrificing--control in tight turns, fuel efficiency, etc? Are there any serious negatives to consider before using this prop? Thanks as always

Your motor will use about 11.5 gph(gallons per hour)at wot(wide open throttle).Wheather pushing a house boat or a race boat.
Where mileage comes in is the speed it makes at wot.
Generally the 4 bld will improve hole shot and low end performance.
Usually it will stay on plane with less power and improve handling.
You can probably expect better mileage at cruising speed wheather
measureable is a question.Logic says if it stays on plane with less power
mileage will improve.Generally top end will be reduced thus mileage at speed
will be reduced.Wheather you can measure the difference again the question. If going from aluminum to stainless there are more variables
But should be an overall improvement.
