For a typical outboard starter (mine is 115 Evinrude) what is typical current (in Amps) draw for no-load (not engaging flywheel) and with load (engaging flywheel?) On a benchtest at Auto Parts store mine read about 60 amps. Tester said it should be about 125 amps. There was no load on Bendix there. I am confused about their machine wrt load/no-load, i.e., how do they account for a load?
