Howdy,

Has anyone had any luck purchasing a aftermarket custom cover for their toon? I bought my boat used and it has snaps installed on the rails for a factory cover. Tracker boats will sell me a custom fit with a three week lead time and no snaps. No snaps kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying a factory cover in my opinion.Boat is a 2006 21 foot fishin' barge by Suntracker.

Thanks!

The ocvers are installed on the boat so no two have the snaps in exactly the same place, you would have to get the cover and install the snaps to match what you have.

I;m sure that would be the situation with any cover you bought.

Re: custom mooring cover

Hello,

FIve years ago I had an ulpostery guy make me a Sunbrella Custom Cover for $1,000.00 for my 22' Crest. It was a great investment. It has snaps all the way around with poles.

If the boat is in nice condition, you really need to spend the money to protect it.

Thanks for the advice. I did not think that the covers were custom built to fit each boats snaps but I guess it makes sense. Each boat lays out a little differently off of the assembly line I guess...
