Cut Oil Line

I have a 50 hp outboard 2 Stroke 3 cylinder. While rebuilding the carbs I discovered a cut oil line that looked to be attached what looks like a check valve at the 6 o’clock position, just below the bottom carb. The line extends up the engine to above the top carb and looks to go internal somewhere underneath the fly wheel. Can anyone educate me on what this and if it’s something that I can repair myself? Motor still runs but leaks oil into the lower cowling.

Sound like the recirc line for upper/lower bearing. Just pushes on the nipple of check valves.

Easy or not ----You have to replace it.----After you are done you might say---" nothing to it "
