CV joint to replace Engine Coupler?

Hi - is anyone aware of a CV joint that can replace an engine coupler on a 1990 Alpha1 GenII 4.3L

It seems to me that a CV joint would be more reliable than even the most reliable rubber engine coupler. It would have better heat dissipation and be more tolerant of slight misalignment. For those of us with less than ridgid old boats and possibly weak transoms, this could be a solution.

Any advice or tips?

It Ain't Going to Happen.............

You Need Either the Rubber Coupler,
Or,
A Spring Dampener Plate........

It has Nothing to do with Alignments......
It's All About Torsional Viberations...........
For those of us with less than ridgid old boats and possibly weak transoms, this could be a solution.
Fix the Boat.........
Instead of trying to Redesign the Drive.........
