ok i took some advice for the guru's on this board and pulled the head off my 1975 75hp rude looks like it could have been getting water in the cyl i think. the reason i think it did it looks like the where the plugs are its bleached white (or sand blasted)the cyls look great and it had comp of #1 120lbs #2 115 #3 115 before i took the head off 2&3 are the ones that looks white well extreamly clean gurus please comment so i know i'm atleast doing something rite :confused:

Ok tim Ill start the ball rolling. Were the plugs that came out of the "clean white" cylinders also nice and new looking.<br /><br />If they were then yes Idd say you have a water leak.<br /><br />Dont confuse my idea with someone who has vast experience with problem motors.<br /><br />Iam going by what Ive read on other post that have delt with water leaks.<br /><br />Good luck!
