Cylinder compression

I tested my 1988 Mariner two cylinder 40hp today with a compression tester and the results areTthat both cylinders are producing 140psi.

Without sounding silly, is this a good result or should it have been a higher reading?

Put new spark plugs in the holes and go boating....
Those compressions are good....
