Hey guys, was looking at my gamefisher 15hp cylinder head today and noticed rust coming from in-between the gasket and the head on the bottom cylinder, should I worry about this, should I change the gasket?, motor seems to run fine didn't notice any water on the plug last time took it out. Thanks for the help.

Gaskets can "weep", different than "leak". Keep an eye on it and change gasket if/when it gets worse or starts to worry you.

Iam guessing the cylinder head and block are aluminuem right? So the rust must be coming from one of the cylinder head bolts? I will try to post picks of it tonight

the engine is aluminum but the cylinders have steel liners, if your outboard is a sears gamefisher by Chrysler, force (225-xxxx) I would just put a new headgasket on to be sure...its a cheap do it yourself job. If its Tecumseh built (217-xxxx) you might have to search for a head gasket or ask Eskaman2008, he did have some awhile back.
