Reid.... If you're speaking of the red lever on the fuel primer solenoid, having it facing straight back down the solenoid body is the automatic position. This enables it to function as a fuel primer when you press the key in.<br /><br />Turning it 180° puts it in manual mode so that if you ever had to start the engine manually, that position would allow fuel to flow through it every time you pumped the fuel primer bulb to prime the engine manually.<br /><br />The head bolt torque is 18 to 20 foot pounds. Start with the center left bolt, then the center right bolt, then the next bolt down on the right side, then continue in an ever widening circle.
