cylinders bored out..what to do with the exaust ports??

just got my 91 force 120 L-drive back from the shop bored out .020 . new pistons. but i remember reading something a while ago about the exaust ports taking the on edge off or something like that. can someone direct me to the thread on how to sand down the exaust port edges

I believe what you are referring to is chamfering the edge of both the exhaust and intake ports that are in the sides of the cylinder where the rings ride. The idea is to smooth the sharp edge so that it is less likely to catch a ring and break it. I use a die grinder with a grinding stone. You could use a dremel tool or something similar to take the sharp edge off.
