I just bought a 25' 1994 Chris Craft Contemporary Cruiser with a 5.8 L OMC
King Cobra. The out drive and prop have corrosion damage so the only numbers
I can read on the prop is 15 at the far left of where the numbers should be. So its a 15" with a ? pitch, but I have to replace it and the only thing I do know is
my WOT should be 4500-5000 rpm at about 45 mph. What I am getting is 5500
rpm's at about 38 mph.
Is there any way to find out what it should be other than buying one in the mid-range to start working up or down from.
Any help would be great
