Last week I pulled the boat out and towed it home. boo hoo hoo I noticed the prop was damaged. The prop must of been hit at my slip. One blade has two cracks about 1/2in. long, about an in. apart. The blade is slightly bent . [ looks like a flap ,only way I can describe it ] can it be fixed? how do I remove it?
Thanks, Dead Eye
merc 1988 150 blk max

Re: Damaged Prop

It can probably be fixed, but it sure isn't a 'do-it-yourelf' sort of project.

I'd go to a prop shop and make the best deal I could. Sometimes they'll take it in and fix yours, some of them just swap ya out with a rebuilt one if its a common prop.
