Dash board ground

what size wire to my brass dash ground thing from batt. also is there anything that jumps out at you that looks wrong??

Use the same gauge as the wire from the positive battery terminal to the fuse block, which should be 8 or 10 gauge. Tinned marine wire is the best way to go for longevity and reliability.

The only thing that jumped out at me was that you have a lot of wires of the same color. That is going to make troubleshooting harder.

I'd recommend harnessing/tywrapping wires to clear access to the fuses so they can be checked/changed quickly. If you're out on the water when a fuse blows, you'll appreciate being able to troubleshoot quickly. It also helps to label the fuseholders with what each fuse is for. - Grandad

All I can say is what a mess. Troubleshooting this system will be a problem for whomever ends up with that task. I also noticed the fuse panel at the right has the input power feed (line side) is a black wire. Black is normally reservede for ground. Those are just two things. I also see splices with different color wires. Granted, elecricity doesn't care what color the wire is -- but whoever must service this rig will have a tough time.
