My play boat is a 1986 Starcraft 1601 w/ a 3.0 OMC Stringer. Yea.. I've heard all the issues about stringers and OMC. It has however,been maintained very well over the years and it is in very good shape.
My problem is that the dash gauges other than the temp gauge and speedometer no longer work..They have not for 2 years..... The RPM one, does , but I know is not very accurate. Gas gauge, oil pressure, charge, and trim are dead....
Any ideas.. corroded connnections/ sensors, gauges themselves????
I suppose trying to find a Starcraft mannual might help, but I wonder what the odds of that are......
