Keep what you have. The gauges are generic and don't care what engine they are monitoring. The sensors (oil pressure and temperature) will need to be moved from the old engine to the new. Speedo is pitot driven and fuel gauge has nothing to do with the engine so those are no problem. You didn't say what the original engine was but if it was a V8 as well, the tach should work. If not, the setting on the back will need to be set for the V8.
