I've mentioned on here before that my daughter has cerebral palsy. We were lucky enough to participate in a fundraiser this afternoon. The handicapped kids got to play flag football with Ohio State Football players. They had "football buddies". The "buddies" pushed them, caught the ball for them, and pretty much did anything that their handicap doesn't allow them to do. My family happens to be HUGE Ohio State fans, but even if you hate football or the Buckeyes
you would have been very impressed with these young men. Not only did they donate their time, but they made these kid's days. They treated them like "normal" people and that doesn't happen much. My wife and I were very impressed. We've been home for a few hours and our daughter is still smiling!
