DDSI back to distributor

I have a 1988 3.0 that has the DDSI system. I am considering going back to distributor with a petronix inside. I have a good distributor out of a 1977 3.0. Will this distributor work in a 1988 if I add a coil.

Get #1 to TDC compression , install dist making sure the rotor tip is located on a wire stud, and the firing order is 1,3,4,2 CW

As Bt Doc mentioned, dizzy stabbing 101. Nothing to it. You may have to bump the starter to get the dizzy shaft to line up with the oil pump shaft

Ayuh,... You'll also need to resistor the purple wire feedin' the points,...

Points will burn up in no time at full 12vs,....
