Any of you know if a good Auto scan tool will work with the mercury cartridge? I just find it hard to beleive that Mercury Scan tool is nothing but auto scan tool with different labels.
I own 2 DDT's and one OTC the lettering is different on the otc unit. I know what the lights stand for. I use them all the time. The OTC is the back up unit.

The telephone number for Rinda is 733-736-6633. The person I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable about Opti's and he said they will make them, as soon as they get over this legal obstacle. You can verify this for yourself by calling the number above or email them.
Heads up. I own 2 scan tools by Rinda and the laptop software for fourstoke inboards and I.O.'s. The owners name is Ed he is a great guy. I have been waiting for 3 years for Opti scan tool or software for years from Rinda. Mercury and Mercruiser are now going to laptop software for diag. Now. I dont think you will see a scan tool from Rinda for the Opti. Its just not going to happened any time soon. I hope you dont still believe in santa claus too.
