WELL I TRIED TO DECARB MY MOTOR AND A PISTON WENT OUT. DID COMPRESSION CHECK AND HAD 120 ON 1, 2, AND 3 BUT FOUR WAS 55 LBS. HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM? THE MOTOR HAS RUN GOOD WITH THE EXCEPTION OF COMMON FORCE PROBLEMS. I DECARBED IT LAST TIME AND ONLY HAD 2500 MAX RPM. ANY THOUGHTS?

I HAVE READ REPLIES ABOUT STATORS GOING OUT AND NOT GETTING FIRE IN THE CYLINDER. COULD ANY OF THIS BE RELATED TO LOW COMPRESSION?

What exactly did you do to decarb?

It might be time to pull your head and take a look...
you may also have loosed somthing thats now stuck between your rings or similar, its certainly possible, your job now is to find out what happend.. compression is compression, its not related to spark at all, and its only vaguely related to the intake system.. (in that you are supposed to test it with the throttle open) but nothing like the throttle would result in the compression difference you are seeing.

rgds

Frank
