Could someone please share their experience in the de-carb procedure for a 112 SPL Evinrude. I bought a can of OMC Engine Tuner and was reading the procedure on the can which will follow tomorrow however i do not know about this valve and which position the lever should be in during normal operation and during de-carb. Right now the level is inboard or fully clockwise. What does this level do and what position should it be in??? Any other useful info concerning a decarb would be appreciated. Thanks

The lever is a manual primer valve, you DONOT turn valve for decarb, just connect the hose, and when finished install the black cap over the valve.

I do my 88 SPCL the same way. Just follow the directions on the can. On the final long spray where you do it until the motor stops running, have your motor idled down or it will take awhile. They just keep wanting to run.
