In the process of boat winterization, I removed both batteries and have taken them into my garage. After charging both batteries, I noticed my deep cycle battery has a dead cell. Checked by a hydrometer, all balls sank from that cell, while in other cells all balls floated. The battery looks fairly new and has a tag of 10/10 on it. I don`t have the receipt as I just purchased the boat used this year and it was with it.
Can anything be done to revive this cell. Should I just pony up and buy a new one or just continue to use this one till it fails completely? It is a #2 battery, used primarily to power the stereo while at anchor.
