I'd like to think a fully restored SS like that would fetch the same price today.
Thanks for posting that.

In today's dollars thats $96,237.99. Restorinig a Starcraft is fun and you can save big bucks.

And I was freaking out cause I spent $80 on a new anchor yesterday. Whadya think my Islander woulda went for new in 1975? And what would that number be in today's dollars?

What does a brand new 22 foot aluminum cabin cruiser go for today?

Thanks PS for showing us the real inflationary number. I was being a wisenheimer and meant to come back and give correct data. Not $100,000 but 30 g's is still a lot of coin.

Anyone want to buy a 1970 Offshore with the manly V-5 hull and 140 hp I/O? How bought $10k, it needs a little work though. I saw one in slightly better shape go for $30,000 on Barret-Jackson.:D

Seriously, this is great motiivation to restore one of these older gems. They are built like tanks. I think Starcraft started out building tanks, for agriculture way back. They are dang solid boats.
