Decals or Vinyl Sticker to finish my repaint?

First time to Paint an outboard a 1976 85 hp Merc. What a Job! Tear Down, Blast the hard stuff, Acid Wash the soft, clean everything, self etching primer within an hour of bearing the aluminum or re-sand! A LOT more work than I imagined.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. I should be through within a few more weekends! (Weekend Worrier)
Now for the question;
Which have you used before Decals or Vinyl Stickers. And there pros and cons please!

After all the the blood sweet and tears to get this far,there cost is not a big deal.

This guy in Canada, North York Marine, has some of the highest-quality decals available; they're not cheap but you're gonna get what you pay for:

High Quality Decals are needed in my case, it will help distract attention from all the flaws in the paint!
Hope to have pics soon. Decals sound like the old plastic models I built as a kid. I hope these are easier to apply!
