I recently did a dcarb on a 94 150 oceanrunner an am now having in intermitant stalling problem. Should you typically change plugs after a decarb?? Can a decarb damage plugs??
Decarbing can remove large carbon deposits which have to pass through the engine and can stick into the gap in the plug. Replace them as suggested.
It doesn't do any damage, just breaks up crap that fouls the plugs, which yank and a little carb clean takes care of..might need to do it more than once tooThis is the first time I've heard of a decarb causing problems; can you elaborate on this? Thanks.
