When you spray a combustionable mixture into a DFI motor, it will rev up. Your best bet is to back the trailer into the water, or tie the boat securely to a dock, and idle the motor in gear while you spray into the intakes. The load on the motor will keep it from revving up too high.<br /><br />After you soak it, run it at an idle for a while because a solvent like SeaFoam washes a lot of the lubrication out of the crankcase. The factory made Engine Tuner has an oily film to help protect the motor while it is being injected.
When decarboning a Evinrude 2003 225hp DFI Can I spray the deep creep directly into the air intake ports???? Just a little confused!!!
