Re: DECARB DFI

When you spray a combustionable mixture into a DFI motor, it will rev up. Your best bet is to back the trailer into the water, or tie the boat securely to a dock, and idle the motor in gear while you spray into the intakes. The load on the motor will keep it from revving up too high.

After you soak it, run it at an idle for a while because a solvent like SeaFoam washes a lot of the lubrication out of the crankcase. The factory made Engine Tuner has an oily film to help protect the motor while it is being injected.
