decarb on Mercury 2+2

I have been reading alot of posts on using seafaom products to decarb your engine, and I was wondering on my 97 mariner 125 if trying to use deepcreep through the carbs would be not as effective due to the second set of carbs not kicking in until 1800 rpm's. would using a can in a separate gallon of gas clean as well as through the carbs? I was thinking about warming the motor on muffs at low prm's, shutting it down and using deepcreep through the plug holes and letting that sit overnite, then running on the the concentrate at the lake the next day. any other suggestions?
