Re: decarb question

The only way to really de-carb a 2-stroke outboard is via complete teardown and cleaning the ringlands on the pistons--nothing I've ever seen in a can does more than remove some carbon from the exhaust cover--which doesn't hurt you anyway--best thing is to use a supreme grade synthetic oil and not put the carbon in there. A 2 year old loop charged motor (yours) is in no danger from carbon build up, wasting your money.

Re: decarb question

How do I find the FAQ on decarbing? All the FAQ's I can find just talk about forum questions. No maintenance questions.

Re: decarb question

Go to FAQ and click on a decarbing post! Or buy a can of deep creep by seafoam and read the can. Tim
