2000 wellcraft 22 wa 200 johnson. had a nice slip on the ct river this year( won a play 4 number). i bought the boat this spring o8. top speed was 38.1 mph gps close to the end of this season the engine started to run very rough , shaking like crazy and no power like a blade fell off the prop. not a good feeling. well i decarbonized, lots of white smoke. i used seafoam. new champ plugs and i was off. speed went to 38.3 on a 12 mile trip. next time out on a 18 mile trip speed went to 41.1 and on my last trip of the season reached 43.6 mph. boat weight remained the same just fuel burn off which is 2 mpg plus a little. to bad this this season is over i could have reached the speed of light lol. love my wellcraft.
