I read the FAQ on decarbing and am not mechanically inclined enough to play around with fuel lines etc.

Can I simply put seafoam on my regular pre-mix and run it through that way?

I could probably handle taking out the plugs and spraying in some deep creep. Do I then put the plugs back in and run as normal? I would have to spary in and then trailer to the ramp and put in to run the boat as I don't have muffs.

Will it damage the engine if the deep creep's in there awhile?

Deep creep or sea foam (same thing) will not harm the motor. It can be left in. It also works as an engine fogger so no harm will be done.

You can add some in the tank of premix and go to the lake. If you got 2 tanks only put about a gallon or 1.5 gallons of premix. Put the whole bottle of sea foam in the tank. Go to your fishing spot. switch tanks. let motor idle for a good 10-15 minutes and shut her down for about 5-10... start it back up and let it run again for 10-15 minutes...shut it off... do it around three times.

The sea foam is a good maintanace item to put in full tanks of premix. I did it both ways and feel by doing the on off method is much more effective. Ecspecially if you don't know when it has been done last. Running it in the tank will make it smoke a bit more while running and will more then likely drip some black goo on the drive after you bring her home.

If you can get to the carb barrels (throat) the take the deep creap and spray it in them during idle. Don't have to put it in the gas and some find it easier to spray in the carbs. Works the same.
