Deciphering Mercury Serial #'s

Hi Guys,<br /><br />Is there a site or a list anywhere that will tell you how to determine what year a Mercury<br />is from the serial #? My 50 has #6308365. It would really help when buying a motor to be able to tell what year it was made. Thanks in advance for all the lessons I learn from<br />reading the forum<br /><br />
