I am new to boat ownership and the cleaning that comes with it. What is the best method for cleaning the deck of your boat. I own a 24' Regal bowrider. Is it fine to just to snap out the carpet, scrub with a boat soap, and then hose out and let drain out back or to the bilge?

Welcome to iboats.com. Yes, if you have snap in carpet, simply pull out, use a brush and some basic boat cleanser and rinse it out. I've done it with mine with no issues. You may need a stronger cleanser for stains/grease, etc.

Good luck

I use toilet bowl cleaner with bleach.
Don't laugh - $2.00 a bottle and it works.
