I am in the process of replacing the core in the forward deck area of a 36 cruiser. I am doing it from the inside and I'm ready to start glassing new foam in. I not sure whether to laminate the foam to my cut out piece, i.e. the inner piece of glass that I cut out and lift it up into position or to glass the foam to the top (deck) and work my way down lifting the cut out piece last. The cut out section is approx. 3x4 ft. and I'm a little concerned about the weight trying to lift it all at one time. I'm working by myself. I tryed this today and the epoxy started to kick before I could finish and I had to abort thereby losing a good bit of material and my patience. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
