Before I run to the local hardware store to get new orings, I want to check with the expertise and experience of this forum. Is it worth replacing the little oring in the deck hatch lid where latch turns?
It looks like the small diameter ss pin can be driven out slightly, turn the latch half way around, then pull the pin out from the opposite end partially driven out. From there, it can be dissassembled to put a new oring in, then re-assembled in reverse order.
Unless I can fiind the exact deck hatch, my fear is having to replace the entire assembly with a new deck hatch system. There are 4 round deck hatches and 2 large rectangle hatches. Each has the same turning latch.
