deck plates for bow seats

does anyone know if there are plugs i can put in the deck plate for my bow seat when the seat is out? every time it rains or when i wash the boat i get water in my bow storage. any suggestions would be much appreciated, i'm tired of my tackle and extra life jackets staying damp.<br />

Get yourself a bag of corks (or rubber “corks”) from a hobby shop. Depends on how big the hole is. Large holes go to Home Depot and check out the pluming dept for tub and pipe stoppers.

Yes, Home Depot will have what you need. They'll be in the ABS sewer pipe fitting area. I think the plugs are called pressure test plugs. You might consider changing the steel hardware for stainless.
