My Klamath originally had carpet on the decking, previous owner glued vinyl on top. The decking has several soft spots, so I'm planning on doing the demo & replace. The gas tank is in the bow, so I'm curious what's under the existing decking, and how it's fastened. In a house that would be the joists, I'm not sure of the terminology for a boat. Not sure I'll be able to see the fasteners once the old floor covering. Aluminum hull. Thank you
