Got the spray this time pretty much flooded intake(throttle body) let sit, scrubbed that nasty carbon ring off, flooded again and let sit for like 10 mins, she didnt want to start the first few cranks, then did and smoked like a BOOGER :), drove for a few miles and PUNCHED it, blew all out, wow the hesitaion is GONE and just changed oil(M1 full syn 5/30 extended, after 12K on same before), runns liike a bat outta heck and is just about at 100K - that 5.7 is a screamer, especially with K&N air filter and dual/catback Flows :)

I have used it on all my small engines (mower, chainsaws, weed trimmer) but have not used it on the cars and trucks......yet.

Sounds like you had fun.:D

If someone decides to use it,(good product) make sure you take the ducting off of the air intake to/from the filter as most engines now have what is call a mass air flow sensor and deep creep or most other spray type cleans will do a number on the hair thin wire that measues the air flow. Also, some vehicles w/fuel injection say not to spray it directly on the sensors inside the body.
I use the can, but normally take loose the brake vaccum hose and suck a 12 oz. can into the engine that way, then you will really get smoke after letting it sit for about an hour.

the spray can says safe on all sensors - I removed Vortec intake cover, to spary direct into throttle body, yup it smokedddddddddddddddddd :) quite a difference in performance too :) Was thinking about doing it the booster way, but this was sooo easy :)

It is almost too easy to take half a can of regular seafoam and suck it up the brake booster. It will kill the engine. Re-attach the booster, wait 15 minutes and then start your vehicle. Let it idle until the smoke thins out a lot. The smoke will be very heavy to start. Then drive it gently for a few miles. When the smoke is gone shut it down. After a few days of normal driving check your plugs for fouling. If they are bad then replace them.

I usually do the seafoam treatment about 200 miles before every 3rd oil change. It may not matter but I figure if the seafoam loosens up that much gunk it is a good time to change the oil and filter......................
