I have a 3Litre LX Mercruiser fitted with Delco EST ignition.
which runs on when you turn the ignition switch off
What I have found is that when I fit a jump lead between two white wires hanging out of the distributor, and then send 12volts down the white/green wire the
engine will not go into the timing base mode
I wondered if anyone else has come across this
and can throw some light on this as to where to look?
