I hope you can help me. I bought a brand new Delco Voyager EST ignition system complete on E bay...'cept the installation manual didn't come with it.

I don't want to connect the wrong wires and burn up the EMC.

The plug-in with the green/white stripe wire on the right side of the ECM usually goes to the shift interrupt switch. The other end of the switch goes to the purple wire. I have a Bravo drive with NO interrupt switch.

DO I connect the green/white wire to the purple wire?

Thank-you,
Charlie

P.S. This is a V8 EST ignition for a Merc with a TB IV which previously had an alpha but now has a Bravo II

Can't help with the wiring but you might be able to contact the manufacturer or get the directions on line.J

A picture (big enough to see) of you distributo and the wires coming from it would be a great help.

OK! Got the installation manual today.

Had to do a bit of rewiring and decided to get colder plugs so it turned into an all day project. Didn't fire it up yet. I'll do that tomorrow.

Don,
If I got your message earlier I could have laid out all the components.

They're all installed, now.
