Deleting drop-down memory?

As I log onto this fine forum, I hit the first letter of my registration name, and then three possible names drop down. The only trouble is that two of them are misspelled, so I have to do some hunting for the right one, and even then I end up clicking on the wrong one often.

To make a long story short, how can I delete the incorrect "autocomplete" names, if that is possible? Please advise.

place your cursor on incorrect name, making sure it is highlighted, then hit your delete key. Repeat for the other incorrect name. Should take care of it.

Boomyal is correct, I use the same feature to remove things that the better half should not see I was looking at :)

Thanks for asking the question. This has been a source of irritation that I have now eliminated.

Thanks Boomyal for your answer. Funny how such a small thing can be so annoying!

To delete all at one time go to Tools\Internet Options\Content tab\Autocomplete button\Clear Forms
