62-kiwi....not a snowballs chance to accomplish much by participation in that site.<br /><br />Some time ago members from an outdoors board, and yea, I was in on it, invaded and anti hunting and vegan site. We were promptly banned as those folks wanted no part of a dialog with those of opposing views. And that was their right, they owned the board.<br /><br />The content of the DU site seems pretty hard line lefty, and that is their right, if you will. The said content does however reinforce my opinion developed from conservative news media stating that the very left democrats were indeed spiteful, if not hateful. Some of the almost rabid content posted on the DU boards is amazing!!

These left leaning sites are an important counter weight for the right leaning sites.Neither of them are very palatable.These sites counterbalancing each other make it possible for the rest of us to form an opinion which is neither left or right ,but center.

She got them started <br /><br />Then I went to read Message Board Rules...<br /> <br />1. This is a message board for Democrats and other progressives. <br /><br />They get pot stirrers also. Didn't look all that bad... not where I would want to hang out or post.<br /><br />Ive seen many boat sites before finding iboats that make them look tame and conservative and that be the truth!

Very good comment rolmops! I suppose that is why I will listen in on NPR occasionally for example. <br /><br />Decisions made or opinions formed without regard for due consideration of as much data or factual information available will be incomplete.<br /><br />Imagine if a criminal judge would only hear the prosecutions presentation of a case.<br /><br />Anyhow, spelunking around sites like DU, anti fishing/hunting sites provides another view.
