After leaving Quebec City we had calm water as we headed down the river. There was fog for the first two hours so the radar and GPS maps became very important in careful navigation. The last hour to our stop for the day was a very light chop and the fog cleared.
Going from Quebec City downstream on the St. Lawrence River about 80 miles to the marina called Marina Cap-a L'aigle. This excellent small marina is about 3 miles downstream from the town of La Malbaie, on the north bank of the river.
