Dependability of 01 Evinrude ficht 175

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2001 Evinrude ficht 175 w/ 375 hours---well taken care of and repair log and good compression. It sounds great & the price is right!!!!

Is there anything i need to know?? I know nothing about this line.

My last 6 motors have been Yamaha's

This was the second production year under the Bombardier corporation ownership. It should be just fine. The problem years for the ficht was 99 and before.
