Depth, FF Transducer electrical specification

Hi,<br />I am an Elecctrical and Electronic Engineer. I am trying to develop a fish finder / depth transducer system which can be installed without drilling a hole through the boat hull (Thru-hull transducer system).<br /><br />I wanted some information on the electrical specification for depth transducers. I have found lots of websites with mechanical and instalation instructions for transducers but none with the actual electronic specifications. Any help would be much appreciated.<br />Thanks

I believe they already have Thru Hull systems where the xducer is epoxyed in place ???????<br /> <br />For fiberglass applications (to qualify my above statement.)

If you dig deep in at the Airmar site you will find a paper on transducer design for both thru-hull and in-hull applications and the numbers you are interested in. Airmar, the largest transducer manufacturer in the world, already makes many models in the configuration you mention, but if you wanted to read up on it they are happy to share informatin.<br /><br />Thom

any transducer can be epoxyed to the floor if it is a single layer with no air bubbles or pockets . on fiberglass or aluminum . papasage
