Depth finder accuracy...LCR400

How accurate is the depth reading on a Humminbird LCR400? Will it give accurate readings in shallow water from about 3' to 6' deep?<br />Thanks

I have a 400dx and its accurate,It should be plus or minus a foot in shallow water,when in short water stick a fishing rod in the water and test it.
