"Feezes", is the display still on?<br />What power source did you connect it to?<br />Are you sure it is well grounded?<br />What ground source are you connecting to?<br /><br />Do you have a meter? Can you check the source voltage to check for a low/high voltage condition when the engine is running or when the key is on?<br /><br />If you can connect it directly to the battery both positive and negative when you are under way and it works fine, it would seem you have a high/low voltage condition when the boat is running.<br /><br />Another thought is: is your battery (or both) in good condition, as well as the charging circuit.<br /><br />Safe boating to all.<br /><br />Cheers.<br /><br />emp.
