Depth sounder install troubles

I have a 2007 tahoe q4 and was installing a humminbird 610 guage in the dash. I didnt hook it up yet when I went out yesterday because I was not sure what was the ground and what was the power on the fuse box. So I just let the wires free, kinda tucked them up in there. Apparently something touched and now the blower does not work, the bilge, curtsey lights. But the master power switch works, the radio and horn. Any thoughts on what happened or how to trouble shoot the situation would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has the schematics for a tahoe fuse box would be great! Thanks in advance

Re: Depth sounder install troubles

The obvious starting point would be to check all the fuses. There is no schematic for a fuse panel. 12 volts goes in, splits to each fuse and goes out to the various devices on those circuits. There is nothing to fix in a fuse panel except the fuse.

Ground and 12 volts for the sounder can be connected to ground and +12 volts on any of the gauges. You don't need to go near the fuse panel (unless you actually want the sounder on a separate circuit. Follow a ground wire from any gauge and you will eventually find the ground point on the fuse panel.
