DF115 water pilot hole issue

I just bought a used pontoon with a df115 suzuki outboard. It says in the manual that the water pilot hole on the back of the engine is adjustable. Apparently mine is missing since there is just a hole there. It looks like the adjustable part must have dislodged and fell out. Can I buy just this piece and install myself? Also, at idle I do get water coming out of the hole but it is a weak stream. I never get an alarm or RPM reduction. Is the weak stream because of the adjustable pilot hole piece missing? Thanks.

Yes, put your finger on it making a small hole and you wil see it makes a 'solid' water stream.

It's just a hole to let you know there's water circulating through the motor, no adjustment. Sometimes bugs get in the hole and stop them up, so stick a small wire in it while it's running to open it up.

You are missing the water indicator cover - you can purchase it from your local Suzuki dealer and it just pops on. You can rotate it to adjust the stream so you can see it.
