DF70 - Oil filter Question -------JB?

JB I wanted to pM you but couldn't-<br /><br />I remember talking to you about the Samuri Oil Filter is the same for this Motor ( DF70) <br />just wan to confirm.<br /><br />I had the Oil changed by a Mobile Marine service and they never changed the filter! so I want to do it myself.<br /><br />Thanks in advance<br /><br />pd

The Samurai filter is not the same size, pd, but it fits and is a lot cheaper.

Don't know anything about the internals, pd. The Samurai filter is clearly not salt proof and it is longer, but it still fits under the bonnet.<br /><br />If you operate in salt you probably ought to use the DF70 filter.
